Norma Burton 1942 ~ 2011 Norma Burton passed away August 7, 2011. She was born on November 25, 1942 in Tremonton, Utah to Leland M. and Rachel Call Burton. She was raised on the family farm in West Fielding, Utah. Graduated from Bear River High and worked at the Holy Cross/Salt Lake Regional Hospital for 40 years as a housekeeper. Norma enjoyed spending her vacation time traveling and visiting her mother in Fielding and later helping her mother in her advanced years. She was active member of the LDS Church and especially enjoyed her calling as a Relief Society counselor serving at the Federal Heights Rehab Nursing Center. She was a special aunt to the many nieces and nephews. Norma is survived by her sisters: Marguerite (Norman) Petersen, North Salt Lake; Sylvia (Ronald) Crane, Herriman; Barbara (Jerry) Robinson, West Jordan; Maurine (Doug) MacKay, Sugar City, Idaho and a brother, Darrell L. (Renee) Burton, West Haven. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Nelda Garbanati. Norma was a hard worker, very loving and giving. She enjoyed gardening, being outside, and life in general. A viewing will be held Wednesday, August 10th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City.
