Howell- Carlos Wallace Christensen 65, died Sunday October 12, 2008 of sudden heart failure. He was born July 19, 1943 in Brigham City, Utah; the son of Verna Eudora Just, and Wallace Clarence. He married Marianna Handres December 6, 1963 in Tremonton, Utah. They have been residents of Howell since that time. He was a member of the LDS Church. He was a sheep rancher, owned and operated Pheasant Valley Hunting Preserve. He previously served on the town board and was currently the Mayor of Howell. He was chairman of Pheasants Forever-Golden Spike Chapter. He was a member of the Westernairs band and enjoyed singing and playing his guitar. He loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and escorting groups’ deep sea fishing to Baja Mexico, for a total of Twenty times. He is survived by his wife Marianna, Howell; Three sons; Cody, Eagle Colorado; Chad Wallace, East Garland; Casey Just (Stacie Kirby), Austin Texas. Four Grandchildren and one Sister Jean C. Stokes, Tremonton. He was preceded in death by two sisters. Funeral services will be held on Friday October 17, 2008 at 1:00 pm with Bishop Wright officiating, in the Howell LDS Church 16035 North 17400 West Howell, Utah. A viewing will be held on October 16, 2008 from 6-8 pm at Rudd Funeral Home 1234 South Main Garland, Utah and Friday 11:30-12:40 at the Church.
